Jimmy’s dad worked for the Newtown Rescue Service. He helped people if their car got stuck in the snow on the road. He helped people if their water pipes froze and split open. He helped people up in the mountains if they got lost or injured. Jimmy’s dad was an excellent skier, climber, and outdoors person.

One Saturday, Dad was working. He asked Jimmy if he would like to come with him. They were going to check the ski fields up in the mountains. Jimmy loved going with his dad. Uh-oh. What did they see? Two skiers, going where they should not go. The snow was loose there. It was dangerous!
